GSHP copper tubes are primarily used in Direct Exchange (DX) Geothermal Systems for residential homes, schools, and commercial office buildings. They are installed in Vertical Boreholes, where they descend 30-100 meters into the earth, or in Horizontal Trenches where they are laid in a "Slinky" or grid pattern. These tubes are also used in Lake/Pond Loops, where they exchange heat with a body of water. Because of their high thermal efficiency, they are also finding use in Industrial Heat Recovery systems, capturing waste heat from process water and storing it in the ground. In the agricultural sector, they are used for Greenhouse Soil Heating, maintaining optimal growing temperatures year-round.
